Expert Analysis

One of the top wing guard athletes in western Kentucky, Stricklin was applying a ton of pressure. Able to hang in the air and finish uniquely at the rim, Stricklin had some highlight-reel finishes as well as a couple trips to the foul line. When Stricklin is making shots from the outside consistently he’s almost impossible to guard and Stricklin also showed the ability to finish with either hand.

I’ve been able to see Acey in several camp settings over the last two years and he is a player who goes all out, all the time. A very underrated athlete, Stricklin is explosive in the open court. He’s also a good shooter and confident ball handler. I’m not sure what level of college will end up with Stricklin but he’s a player that in state teams should really be targeting the next 6 months or so.

Acey has been good in every setting I’ve ever seen him in. Whether it’s high school, AAU or camps, Stricklin is a good shooter and explosive athlete who continues to get better. Moving from Murray to Calloway County should allow Acey to become the primary or secondary option for the Lakers and play with the ball in his hands a lot more. I think he can be a scholarship player if he gets the right exposure and plays well in front of the right people.

An overlooked transfer inside the first region, Stricklin went from Murray to Calloway County this summer and should provide some instant offense for the Lakers. Acey has been very impressive in camp settings over the last couple of years and should thrive with the offensive freedom that Calloway County gives to it’s players. Keep an eye on Stricklin this season.

One of the standouts of fall camp season, Stricklin is a really good guard who is deceptively athletic. He’s gone from123rd to 63rd overall and could still be underrated. Acey hasn’t had the best start to his Junior season statistically but he has shown his potential in the camp settings this fall that makes me know he has more to show before this season is over.

Stricklin was a top player at camp and looks like one of the biggest stock boosters of the fall. Very athletic and capable of competing on both ends at a high level, Acey is a name to watch as a potential scholarship player.

Stricklin is a player who has really impressed in the last month between the PH Expo and Saturday’s camp. He’s very athletic and shot the ball really well. Several folks were asking “who is that kid” as the day wore on. Acey was making a name for himself on Saturday.
