About Quel’ron
Expert Analysis

House had a huge season for Seneca and is the best unsigned player in Kentucky. Quick and shifty, Quel’ron would have been more widely known if he had stayed at Ballard but he carried Seneca to the 7th region finals for the first time in a very long time.

There may not be a Senior in Kentucky playing at a higher level right now than Quel’ron. Currently averaging 27 points per game, House is absolutely killing the competition these days. He’s had a 40+ point game and leads Seneca in every offensive category that the KHSAA tracks.

One of the top unsigned seniors in Kentucky, House continues to put on impressive performances this time leading Seneca to a tough road win at CAL. A small athletic guard, House has excellent burst and explosiveness with the ball in his hands. A capable shooter off the bounce, House got to his spots and made the defense pay when they went under ball screens and left the pull-up available. Making a couple nice passes in this one as well including looking a defender off in transition for an easy layup, if House can show growth in taking care of the basketball, he should receive some Division I interest before it’s all said and done.

The best unsigned Senior in the state right now, House has been on a tear to start the year for Seneca. Coming off dropping 37 points last weekend, Quel’ron’s stock continues to trend up. He’s a D1 talent and it will be interesting to see where he ultimately lands for college.

The best player I saw on Saturday, Quel’ron was unstoppable with the ball in his hands and recorded a ton of steals and even a couple of blocks on defense. It’s mind boggling how House doesn’t have a dozen D1 offers right now.

Quel’ron may be the most underrated player in the city right now. If I were a D1 coach looking for a point guard, I’d be all over House thanks to his elite quickness and handle. Not to mention great floor vision.

House is still one of the most consistently under-recruited players in Kentucky in my opinion. Yes he has a D1 offer from Jacksonville State but Quel’ron is one of the best players I’ve seen at getting paint touches on offense. He’s also a killer in the midrange with his pull up jumper.

It was actually House, not Decker, who was named MVP of the tournament and he was deserving of the accolade after a big weekend in his own right. Quel’ron is shifty with a very tight handle and capable of getting paint touches all day long. He also showed an improved three point stroke over the course of the weekend.

House is basically impossible to keep out of the paint on offense. On top of that, Quel’ron shot just under 40% from three this season too. Had he stayed at Ballard, they may be the favorites to cut the nets at Rupp this week. Primed for a big AAU season, House could end up a mid major or better D1 point guard in college.
