Dwayne, also known as “Duke,” made one of the lesser spoken about transfers this past summer after leaving Seneca for Shelby County. He was one of three players to average at least one 3pt fg per game for the Redhawks last season and should be able to double his volume in his sophomore campaign with the Rockets. Probably an even more significant development is Duke’s obvious physical maturation since a year prior. He’s noticeably taller, more toned, and more athletic, all of which could set him up to become a key impact player in the 8th region alongside Top 40 ranked 2028 Xadrian Johnson Xadrian Johnson 5'10" | PG/CG Shelby County | 2028 State KY .

Seneca basketball relied on heavy production from several underclassmen this past season, one of them being Roberts-Smith. His most valuable contribution to the Redhawks was arguably outside shooting – a skill that will come in handy for Ambition’s 15U squad. Beyond that he should also have a good opportunity to put his ability to facilitate the offense on display. One thing’s for sure; Dwayne is the type of player who always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Expect his advanced court awareness to play a major role during travel ball.
