In terms of production and efficient, Darian deserves more recognition as one of the better guards in the state. He has one of the tightest handles of any 2027 floor general and is prone to use his quick twitch to drop his defender at any given moment. He stepped up to the plate during his junior season by improving upon shooting numbers that were already impressive the year prior. Most recently, Darian unlocked a new level of strength and athleticism and has begun to throw down dunks. He’s primed for a big-time senior year, to say the least.

Another point guard who excels when he’s in the open floor or directing traffic on the offensive end, Darian is a crafty playmaker who can finish around the rim but is at his best when he’s creating for others. Capable of picking up 94 feet on the defensive end. Shy is one of the best small guards in the state.

Darian is one of my favorite point guards in the Junior class. He’s quick and has a tight handle on the ball. Shy doesn’t force his own offense or anything crazy. He sets the table for his teammates and picks his spots to go and score for himself. A good defender, Darian is currently shooting 49/41/70 for a Seneca team that is having a very good season.

A highly skilled passer who is also very fast, Darian lacks ideal size but is a player who just gets things done. Look for him to earn some recognition for a young Seneca team this season.

Another Louisville point guard who excels at getting into the paint and wreaking havoc on a defense, Darian is playing really well as a Sophomore. A good facilitator who can also score from range, Shy has potential to be a scholarship level player.

Shy gets overlooked in Louisville but he’s a talented playmaker with a bright future. He also carries himself like a true PG in the sense that he is not afraid to speak up and run a team. Even when his team is full of relative strangers.

Shy is one of the craftiest guards in the class and his full game was on display Saturday. Darian has a tight handle and advanced passing skills. He also showed off some impressive midrange shooting while playing 5 on 5 at camp. Darian could be one of the best 2027s in Louisville this season.

Shy continues to be one of my favorite young point guards in the state. Quick and super skilled, Darian is an excellent passer who excels as a facilitator. He’s a good finisher at the rim and uses his quick first step to get there.
