Landon averaged 14 and 14 as a Junior and is probably the best shot blocker that Kentucky has to offer in this class. He still has room to bulk up his frame but Henning has shown some skill with the ball in his hands and as a facilitator/passer. At 6’10”, Henning should catch plenty of eyes if he plays well.

Staying in the Junior Class, Henning earned a D1 offer from SEMO this summer and has a chance to earn more over the course of the next year. One of the state’s top shot blockers, Landon needs to continue adding bulk to his frame and improving his offensive game but he has a very high prospect ceiling thanks to his size.

The best shot blocker in the class, Henning has started to turn the corner as a prospect over the last year and recently earned his first D1 offer from SEMO. Landon has some perimeter skills and needs to continue developing his jump shot but not try to become a jump shooter. With his length and athleticism, Landon should make a living on the offensive glass and finishing up lobs.

Another top big man in Kentucky, Henning showed visible signs of improvement on Saturday. Much more comfortable with the ball in his hands in the open floor, Landon was not afraid to take the ball and push the pace on offense. Known mostly for his shot blocking, Henning looks like he’s starting to develop a better skill set and become an even better prospect.

Henning is an elite shot blocker whose offensive game shows flashes of big time potential. Landon has to add bulk and strength to his frame in order to reach his ceiling but the 6’10 center possesses great defensive timing as well as the ability to finish with two hands at the rim. Definitely a player to keep an eye on.

Our top 3 Centers in the class are all bunched up at the 12-15 spots. Landon is an excellent rim protector who has some skill and is comfortable operating out of the high post or on the low block. He still needs to add bulk to his frame but Henning reminds me of Ryan Kalkbrenner at the same age. Both have defensive instincts that cannot be taught and the desire to get better.

I joked with Landon that he drove 3 hours to have to guard his rival big man when he and DeAaron Watkins DeAaron Watkins 6'8" | PF Daviess County | 2026 State KY were going head to head in a game. Henning is a big time rim protector who will only get better as his coordination improves. You could argue that Landon was the best big at camp on Saturday.

Henning did not have the best offensive day overall but he showed enough around the rim and even knocked down a couple of threes. The most impressive aspect of Landon’s game on Saturday was his complete domination of the glass. He probably averaged 20 rebounds per game and also blocked a ton of shots. Henning was the tallest player at camp and he played like it as he dominated the glass.

You could almost copy and paste what I said for Rickard above and apply it to Landon. Henning moves up from 23rd to 14th on the back of a big July. At 6’9, Landon is an excellent two handed finisher around the rim as well as being a really good two handed rebounder on both ends. Henning has flashed some range on offense and could eventually evolve into a stretch 4 or face up 5 in college.
