Hard to believe these 2024s will be in college in 5 months as it seems like a lot of them were just starting their careers as freshmen a couple of months ago. This class has been a good one and would have been even better without so many kids moving to 2025 for the free Covid year. Here’s a breakdown of the top ten in our final edition of the 2024 class rankings.
Travis finishes where he started, at the top of the 2024 rankings. I believe no one ever knocked Perry off the top spot and he was #1 from wire to wire. He was awarded Mr Basketball last weekend and has Lyon County into the Elite 8 at Rupp on Friday.

Another top player in action at Rupp this week, Noah ended his career in the top 150 in America and committed to South Carolina. If the Black Bears make a run at Rupp, it will be on the back of Noah.

Decker has potential to have the best college career of anyone in this class. A big time scorer and underrated athlete, Brett will have a chance to play early and often for a Liberty team that is currently being hit hard by graduation and the transfer portal.

House had a huge season for Seneca and is the best unsigned player in Kentucky. Quick and shifty, Quel’ron would have been more widely known if he had stayed at Ballard but he carried Seneca to the 7th region finals for the first time in a very long time.
Kade was hindered by a knee injury that required surgery and still isn’t 100% healthy. Once he can rest and rehab and get back to his old self, Unseld will be a contributor for WKU in his freshman season.
Evans had a really good career and his best basketball is all ahead of him at Ohio University. A really good rim protector whose offensive game keeps growing, Ayden should have a big college career.
Doyle cracks the top 10 on the heels of a tremendous Senior season. Lex Cath fell short by a hair in the 11th region title game but Tyler did all he could. He’ll be an impact player at Bellarmine soon.
Green had a monster Senior season and led the state in scoring. He is comfortable firing from deep or getting to the rim and Max is likely to play a lot at Holy Cross next season.
Another top available Senior, Williams was 6th region player of the year and did it all for Butler as a Senior. The lefty guard excels as a slasher but can shoot the ball from distance when open, too.
Doerr is part of an electric backcourt for Evangel Christian and they could make a run to a title at Rupp this week with the talent and size they possess. Christian holds an offer from Morehead State but could get more with a big week at Rupp.
