is shooting 39% from three-point range this season, connecting on 57 of his 146 attempts while averaging 2.4 makes per game. He excels in catch-and-shoot situations and displays solid mechanics. With good size and a strong frame, Cosby is a difficult matchup on the perimeter. He has deep range and is comfortable shooting from anywhere around the arc, including the ability to knock down contested shots.

A true two way wing who can score the ball but is just as effective on the defensive end, Xavier is a good shooter and can really cause problems for a defense when he gets into the paint. Cosby often draws a tough defensive assignment thanks to his size making him able to guard across multiple positions. Xavier has had interested schools at all levels of college basketball and should land somewhere good on signing day.

Cosby got a chance at extended playing time for KBC this past weekend and made the most of the opportunity. Xavier is primarily a catch and shoot player and he made shots at a high level this past weekend against Pro 16 competition. Heading into June high school basketball, Cosby should have ample opportunity to continue expanding his skill set and impressing coaches.

Trinity and Warren Central was an ugly game with both teams really struggling to find a rhythm. I thought Cosby was active on both ends, making plays off the dribble and running in transition. Cosby also seemed to play harder on both ends of the court than what I saw in the summer as well, something that he’ll need to continue to bring for a deep Trinity squad that has a lot of talent. I’ll be watching Trinity a few times this winter and hope to see Cosby continue this positive momentum that I saw on Saturday during the regular season.

Xavier returns to Trinity after spending his Sophomore season at Manual. Cosby has upside as a shooter who thrives in catch and shoot scenarios. With good size for a guard, the 6’3 Cosby will need to carve out a role for himself early on this season and expand it as the season rolls along. A potential X Factor in the 7th region, for sure.

Xavier is another player whose ranking is currently based on his long term potential as opposed to his current production. Cosby has the size and skill set that you look for in a big shooting guard. Suffering through inconsistent playing time at Manual this season, Xavier is going to have a big spring and summer ahead.

Cosby played freshman and JV for Trinity last year but is going to be in line for a big role at Manual this season. Xavier is the beneficial of a growth spurt in the last year or so that has completely changed his body and helped him get more athletic. Primarily known as a shooter, the 6’3 guard will only get better putting the ball on the floor as his game evolves. His ultimate prospect ceiling will depend on his defensive ability and footwork but Cosby stays in the gym working so he’ll be the best version of himself that he can be.

Xavier moves up from 29th to 22nd in this update and could move higher as he’s in line for a bigger move over the course of the winter as he should have a big role at Manual this season. Cosby has grown and thinned out over the last 9 months or so. He has a high skill level but could take a little bit to settle into his role in the always competitive 7th region this season.

Cosby continues to grow and his game is evolving as both a playmaker and a driver. Xavier’s bread and butter is being a shooter but he has started to show that he can be more than that and has the potential to be a really good two way wing down the line. Look for him to have a bigger role at Trinity this season than he did as a Freshman.
