With two of the tallest players at the showcase with McAnally and Ben McKinney Ben McKinney 6'11" | C/PF Newport | 2027 KY , team 1 caused a lot of problems with somebody holding down the paint the entire time. McAnally mostly roamed around the paint looking to catch dump off passes and finish through contact. McAnally had a couple and-1 finishes and drew fouls on plays he couldn’t finish as well. A strong rebounder on both ends, McAnally finished defensive stops while also creating extra possessions for his team. With his size, McAnally took up a lot of space defensively in the paint and deterred smaller guards from slashing to the rim. Impressive performance from McAnally who looks due for a ranking bump after that performance.

Size is rare. Size in Louisville that I’ve never heard of is even more rare. Trinity has a ton of young talent and McAnally could be right there in the mix to help the Shamrocks be a dark horse in the 7th region this winter. I’m excited to get eyes on him.

Steven can do his job very well when he’s surrounded by unselfish guards that reward him for his efforts. He’s most effective in the pick-and-roll, ensuring to set sturdy screens that allow for the timing and space creation to take action. He’s also capable of stepping outside the lane and knocking down open shots. Expect him to be a valuable paint presence for his squad this weekend.
