Daishawn Curry Daishawn Curry 5'11" | SG Union County | 2026 State KY leads his team in scoring and is also a threat from deep. Though he’s taken just 92 three-point attempts, he’s made 37, shooting an efficient 40.2% and averaging 1.9 makes per game. Curry releases the ball from a high point with smooth, well-formed mechanics. His ability to attack the rim and score from multiple areas on the floor also creates space on the perimeter, as defenders have to respect his quickness and drive.

Curry is overlooked because he’s so far into Western Kentucky that he’s almost in Illinois but he is a good player. After averaging 17 points per game on 52% shooting as a Junior, Daishawn is ready for a big AAU campaign. A good enough shooter to keep defenders honest, Curry can get to the rim and finish and/or get to the free throw line.

Curry started the game on fire vs Webster County knocking down a pair of 3’s and also showcasing his vision getting guys easy looks. He plays well beyond his age and was able to play both on and off the ball and get the team into offense when Scott was out of the game. He is a deep 3pt threat with good quickness. What I liked about his game is he was fearless and not scared to make the big plays or thread the needle. He is a big time prospect that will only continue to get better.

The 5-11 shooting guard plays with an unselfish edge and is always willing to make the extra pass to an open teammate. He is crafty when the basketball is in his hands and can initiate the offense as a primary point guard as well. His ability to create separation for his own shot also took a step into the right direction this past season as well.
