Harrison Parkhurst
Harrison Parkhurst
Parkhurst had a great game vs Barboursville. He shoots it extremely well from 3pt range with a quick release. He made a tough 3 in transition of a ball screen in the beginning of the game which opened up the floor for him and his teammates. I was surprised at his elite ability to make tough mid-range jumpers off the bounce. You don’t find that skill at the high school level often. He is a really good player.
Maddox Marks
Maddox Marks
Maddox was a force for Model down low vs Barbourville. He played primarily around the basket as he imposed his physical presence to the game. He was really good being ready for dump offs to finish thru contact. He was at his best in scrappy situations and when it got physical.
Eathan Fisher
Eathan Fisher
Fisher plays with great instincts as you can tell he just understands where to be during the game. He was one step ahead anticipating passes defensively which led to steals and easy baskets at the other end. He provides a high level of versatility to his team as he can play both on the perimeter and inside. He is a good prospect to keep an eye on as he has all the tools to be a really good player with great positional size.
Dalton Alsip
Dalton Alsip
Alsip scored from all 3 levels against model. He played with an extreme level of energy on both ends. He attacked the basket utilizing his quickness but stepped out and was ready to knock down 3’s off the catch. He competed extremely hard which was contagious to his teammates. Was the heartbeat for his team.
Michalek has one of the best looking shots I have seen in a long time. Just a natural shooter that has great touch. He is a guy that every time he shoots it you think it is going in. He plays with great poise, changing speeds both with the ball and also when he is running off of screens. Seemed to always get to the rim when he wanted, even though he wasn’t the quickest on the court. He utilized his spin move to his advantage to get back to his left hand. Really good player.
Highlights
Curry started the game on fire vs Webster County knocking down a pair of 3’s and also showcasing his vision getting guys easy looks. He plays well beyond his age and was able to play both on and off the ball and get the team into offense when Scott was out of the game. He is a deep 3pt threat with good quickness. What I liked about his game is he was fearless and not scared to make the big plays or thread the needle. He is a big time prospect that will only continue to get better.

Hunt is a strong big man with great size. He did a great job fighting for post position vs Shelby County to create easy angles to get shots at the rim. He has great hands and caught most of the balls that came his way. What I was most impressed with him was his awareness around the rim as he always seemed to know where he was in relative to the basket. That isn’t a skill you see often, especially at his age.
