News, Notes, and Offers from the Live Period

The first live period of the spring travel season is one of the most exciting for many prospects - particularly those that secure scholarship offers.   That proved to be the case in New England as numerous prospects saw their stock rise over the course of the weekend, with many impressing college coaching staffs to the point of earning those offers.   Below is a look at some of the prospects that changed the trajectory of their recruitment two weekends ago!   [player_tooltip player_id='2878537' first='Davon' last='Maloney'], Cam Blankenberg, and [player_tooltip player_id='2349988' first='Michai' last='White'] all impressed while playing for The City Rocks on the EYBL circuit. Maloney ('27), a 6'6" wing that plays with a lot of versatility on the offensive end of the floor, picked up offers from Iona and Stony Brook. Blankenberg ('27), a 6'7" wing that makes an impact in the scoring column and on the glass, earned offers recently from Penn, Harvard, and Fairfield. White ('28), continues to assert himself as one of the top prospects in the nation and picked up scholarship offers from Maryland, Providence, and Virginia.   A couple of Mass Rivals have impressed on the 3SSB circuit while continuing to rack up high major offers. [player_tooltip player_id='2470964' first='Antonio' last='Pemberton'] ('27) is making a push for Top 25 status nationally and has the offers to back it up, as Boston College and Notre Dame offered early in the month and Xavier and Tennessee extended offers after the live period. [player_tooltip player_id='2594613' first='Derek' last='Swartz'] ('28) continues to be one of the more impressive guards in his class and recently added an offer from Marquette. Keep an eye out for [player_tooltip player_id='2835584' first='Damien' last='Sanu'] ('28) and [player_tooltip player_id='2630700' first='Tighe' last='Arache'] ('29) too, as both appear to be next up in a long line of talented Mass Rivals guards.   Expressions is a mainstay on the EYBL circuit and as in year's past, has another talented squad this season, with multiple prospects adding to their offer lists in recent weeks. [player_tooltip player_id='2470840' first='Josiah' last='Adamson'] ('27) stands out on both ends of the floor with his athleticism and tenacity, two traits that helped him pick up offers from East Carolina and Towson. Another guard, [player_tooltip player_id='2470857' first='Reece' last='Ayala'] ('27), recently picked up his first offer, one that also came from Towson. In the frontcourt, Eric Jacobsen looks like he'll head to the Class of 2027 and, after announcing so, picked up offers from both New Mexico and UAB.   It's been a good spring for Team New England Basketball Club, as their 27's, 28's, and 29's combined to go a collective 30-6 on the Pro16 League. Their talent has also been reflected in the amount of offers their players have picked up lately, with nine prospects gaining offers this month alone. [player_tooltip player_id='2568342' first='Keyshon' last='Joyner'] ('27), a heady lead guard, now has offers from Gardner-Webb and Grambling State, while Gardner-Webb also offered [player_tooltip player_id='2470818' first='Anthony' last='Vick'] ('27) and Oyinloluwa Joseph Adebayo ('27). Milwaukee extended offers to [player_tooltip player_id='2470885' first='Jabari' last='Edmonds'] ('27), a power wing that makes a mark on the boards, and to [player_tooltip player_id='2868674' first='Nate' last='Blenman'] ('27), a skilled 6'9" forward.   The Middlesex Magic have continued to be one of the most impressive programs on the UAA circuit and can claim one of the regions first commitments out of the Class of 2027 as [player_tooltip player_id='2470860' first='Preston' last='Bollin'] announced that he'll attend Princeton. One of the spring's major stock risers has been [player_tooltip player_id='2407057' first='Declan' last='Griffiths'] ('27), a 6'7" wing that recently picked up offers from Boston College and St. Bonaventure. Another stock riser is [player_tooltip player_id='2234395' first='Dillon' last='Callahan'] ('27), a 6'5" guard that has turned heads while receiving offers from Tennessee Tech, Iona, Siena, and Oral Roberts. 6'9" forward [player_tooltip player_id='2960033' first='Philipe' last='Ndong'] has also had quiet the spring and recently received offers from Boston University and Iona. [player_tooltip player_id='2341348' first='Spencer' last='Booth'] ('27), a 6'10" big man who plays with physicality, received his first offer from Holy Cross. First offers also came in for [player_tooltip player_id='2553690' first='Malik' last='Adamson'] ('27), a tough two-way guard, and [player_tooltip player_id='2407058' first='Cole' last='Blackburn'] ('27), a high level athlete on the wing, who both received theirs from Siena.   In 2028, [player_tooltip player_id='2571909' first='John' last='Ramos'] continued to make a name for himself, as the combo guard picked up an offer from Iona, while forwards [player_tooltip player_id='2689496' first='Modu' last='Abdulrahman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2689518' first='Isaac' last='Olaniba'] both picked up offers from UAB and UT Arlington.   Elsewhere throughout New England:   [player_tooltip player_id='2568504' first='Josh' last='Charlot'], who's playing his travel ball with the NY Renaissance on the EYBL circuit, announced that he'll transfer to Cushing Academy in the fall and subsequently, picked up an offer from Fairfield.   Out of New Hampshire, [player_tooltip player_id='2696663' first='Christian' last='Chartier'], a 6'7" wing for the New England Storm and one of the region's top three point shooters, picked up his first offer from a local progam - UNH.   BCRI's [player_tooltip player_id='2553759' first='Donovan' last='Clement'] continues to be one of the region's top stock risers this spring, with the 6'9" forward picking up his first offer from Holy Cross. The club's Deion Ellis-Cipriano has also been a standout on the Made Hoops Circuit and is now squarely on scholarship watch.
