Callahan is a major winner. He does every single little thing on the floor you could want as a coach; he rebounds like a madman, he defends all positions because of his elite combination of strength, lateral quickness, and toughness, and he consistently makes the right play offensively whether it shows up in the stats or not. The lefty isn’t a great outside shooter right now, but his athleticism and speed with the ball allows him to cause major chaos in transition, especially when he’s attacking downhill with a head of steam—he had one big-time dunk this weekend and many other impressive finishes with both hands. Callahan has a special conditioning level and is purely additive on both sides of the ball for the entire game, not to mention the fact that he plays with joy and clearly loves hooping. He’s a definite D1 player with offers already from Oral Roberts, Siena, Iona and Tennessee Tech, and more will come if I had to guess. He’ll fit in wonderfully to any system and can play with anyone.

Callahan is the definition of solid. He can do anything you ask of him on both ends and does it with effort, intelligence, and unselfishness. The lefty was the best off-ball cutter I saw this weekend and has perfected the 45 and corner cuts on drives, but he can also leak out on fast breaks for athletic finishes over the defense. In the half court, he makes extremely smart passes and never tries to do too much—he’s an awesome connective-tissue player on that end. Defensively, he’ll guard anybody and is a phenomenal rebounder for his size. Callahan is a winner.

Callahan is as solid as it gets. The 6-foot-4 guard plugs every single hole on both ends of the floor for the Magic. He’s shooting a ridiculous 68% from the field while being the third leading scorer on his squad, and it’s because of his ability to make simple plays on the offensive end. He’s a phenomenal cutter, an excellent finisher at the rim, and a controlled passer once he gets two feet in the paint (2:1 assist to turnover ration). The offers are starting to roll in for Callahan, who will be an awesome piece for a scholarship program because of his versatility and do-it-all mentality.

Callahan, a guard out of the St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, ranks #3 among the shooting guards and checks in at #14 overall in this update. The 6’5″ lefty is an above the rim athlete that can really get out and attack the basket in transition. He does a nice job of moving without the basketball, attacks closeouts off the bounce, and has the physicality needed to be a high level finisher at the rim. Defensively, he has the ability to guard four positions and has proven to be an aggressive rebounder on that end of the floor. He’ll play his travel ball this season with the Middlesex Magic.

The big guard thrived lumbering his way downhill to score inside. He is also an effective cutter and is constantly on the move on offense. Callahan was a frequent customer at the charity stripe converting most of his chances from there. Smaller guards have a challenge covering him. I am hoping that Callahan can become more of a threat from behind the 3 point line if so he might go up a level as a prospect. Callahan’s name should be on recruiting boards of Mid-Atlantic low majors.

Callahan is a versatile wing who can slide seamlessly between multiple positions on the floor. He combines length, athleticism, and strong instincts to impact the game on both ends. Offensively, he can score at all three levels while also facilitating when defenses collapse. Defensively, his mobility and awareness allow him to guard a wide range of matchups effectively.

Callahan has a chance to be a breakout prospect this winter after transferring into the region from Iona Prep. The St. Thomas More wing has good positional size, the strength to finish plays through contact at the rim, and a nice stroke from behind the arc. He’s got a scorers mentality and does a nice job of picking his spots of when he hunts his and lets the game come to him. He’s got a quick first step and the ability to elevate into his jumper in the mid-range, allowing him to get into his shot at any time. He scores it in transition, in the half-court, from the perimeter, and in the paint. He gained interest from some impressive programs when the contact period began, including Notre Dame, Syracuse, and VCU.

Callahan, a skilled wing out of St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, is a new name to know in New England after transferring in from New York. He’s a connector that can fill a variety of roles on the floor, particularly on the offensive end where he can operate as a primary initiator or off ball scorer. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, particularly out of ball screens, and continues to improve his consistency as a perimeter shooter. Defensively, his motor on the defensive glass stands out, as does his ability to defend all three perimeter positions.

7 th team.Reports are that Dillon has transferred to St. Thomas Moore from Iona Prep after two stellar seasons with the Gaels. Much interest has come his way with his time at Iona Prep. Fundamentally sound player with a high basketball IQ. Tough and can mix it up as he did many nights in the CHSAA.

Callahan is a slashing wing who is elite at getting paint touches. He bullies his way past defenders with his blend of size and strength. Callahan made a living at the foul line converting frequently from there charity stripe. He shows flashes from behind the three point line. I would like to see him play off two feet more when on the attack. Callahan also needs to improve on finishing throughout congested lane. He tends to be a tad volume.
