Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Kumar is Beaver’s best outside shooter and an amazing leader. From the perimeter, he gets his shot off extremely quickly and doesn’t need much space or time to get a good look off. On the defensive end, he’s a phenomenal help-side defender and talks SO MUCH, which makes him have outsized value given his size and athleticism. Kumar recently committed to Haverford and is going to be a coach’s dream there.

Read EvaluationWill Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Kumar, a guard out of the Beaver Country Day School in Massachusetts, announced his future plans with a commitment to Haverford College. Kumar is a true combo guard that has the ability to create for himself and for others with the ball in his hands. He does a nice job of finishing through contact at the rim and makes good decisions as a handler when playing in balll screens. Defensively, he competes physically at the point of attack and has good instincts off the ball that lead to plenty of steals and deflections. Kumar is a nice early get for Haverford and has a chance to carve out an early role in the Centennial Conference.
