Blood is an intriguing young player who’s only entering his freshman year of high school but already plays at the rim and is only 5-foot-10. The combo-guard is a relentless rim attacker who is equally effective with his left and right hand and isn’t afraid to take contact or throw himself into the teeth of the defense. From the outside, he has the ability to get hot, but his release is unique and the rotation on his ball isn’t ideal—it doesn’t matter if you make it, though. Blood also defends his behind off and does an amazing job using his hands to get steals. He has so much time to improve his shot and general game, but I could see him playing spot minutes at Beaver this year, which he should be super proud of.
