Expert Analysis
Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Abdulrahman, a forward out of Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island, is ranked #5 among the power forwards and checks in at #30 overall in this update. The 6’7″ forward is a high level athlete that impacts games on both ends of the floor with his two-way motor. He’s capable of high pointing rebounds in traffic, has the mobility needed to guard smaller opponents in space, and does a nice job of protecting the rim when coming from the help side. He finishes with authority in the paint, does a nice job of cutting off the ball, and is showing signs of the ability to consistently knock down catch and shoot jumpers. He’ll run on the travel circuit this spring and summer with Team New England Basketball Club.

Abdulrahman impressed with his blend of size, skill, and relentless motor that resulted in his Top-60 Co-MOP award and playing his way into the Top-30 game. At 6-foot-7, he’s packed with athleticism as he glides down to the floor to make electric plays around and above the rim at both ends. Abdulrahman is a versatile, willing defender who is always at the right spot at the right time. He showed off some shooting touch from beyond the arc when is feet were set and his shoulders were square. His motor and effort separated him from his competitors. The tools combined with the approach and mindset make him and extremely high upside prospect worth betting on long-term.
