Abdulrahman, a forward out of Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island, showed off an improved perimeter game against high level competition. The 6’7″ forward has long impressed with his athleticism, physicality, and motor, however, it was his improved offensive game that stood out in this setting. Always able to impact the game around the basket, he’s now making threes consistently and attack defenders off the bounce. With the development of his perimeter game on the offensive end of the floor, he’s becoming more of a hybrid forward and one of the more well-rounded, two-way prospects in the region. Scholarship level programs have taken notice with spring and summer offers from UT Arlington, UAB, and Wagner.

Abdulrahman, a forward out of Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island, rose an impressive 16 spots in this rankings update and now sits at #10 overall. A muscular and athletic 6’8″ forward, Abdulrahman has expanded his offensive game as much as any prospect in this class over the last six months. He’s a terrific two-way rebounder, can get out and finish with authority in the open floor, and even shows the ability to create off the bounce from behind the arc. Defensively, he uses his strength to his advantage as a post defender, is an atheltic help side shot blocker, and does a nice job of moving his feet when forced into switches on the perimeter.

The 6’7″ forward is a high level athlete that impacts games on both ends of the floor with his two-way motor. He’s capable of high pointing rebounds in traffic, has the mobility needed to guard smaller opponents in space, and does a nice job of protecting the rim when coming from the help side. He finishes with authority in the paint, does a nice job of cutting off the ball, and is showing signs of the ability to consistently knock down catch and shoot jumpers. He’ll run on the travel circuit this spring and summer with Team New England Basketball Club.

At 6-foot-7, he’s packed with athleticism as he glides down to the floor to make electric plays around and above the rim at both ends. Abdulrahman is a versatile, willing defender who is always at the right spot at the right time. He showed off some shooting touch from beyond the arc when is feet were set and his shoulders were square. His motor and effort separated him from his competitors. The tools combined with the approach and mindset make him and extremely high upside prospect worth betting on long-term.
