Ant is coming into his own at Cushing with how prepared he is on both sides of the ball. The way he understands what is happening before the play even develops. Coach Corms has done a marvelous job scaffolding Ant’s game to the next level. He is going to be a stud next year and will have 20 plus D1 offers. He has college range already from deep, can shoot off the bounce and a magnificent step back all from behind the arc. I have seen Ant twice now and hoping to see more of him.

Vick got Cushing off to an early lead with his incredible three-point shooting; he hit 5 threes in the first 11 minutes of the game, and it seemed like each one was increasingly difficult. He shot them coming off of screens and well beyond the high school three-point line (there were a bunch of NBA threes), but he didn’t hunt bad ones even though he was feeling it. Vick stayed the course and took good shots all night. He also hit some big ones in the second half to keep Cushing in the game. If he can become even more adept at driving closeouts and making plays for his teammates once he does so, D1 schools at all levels should be in on him. I didn’t know he could shoot like this.

Vick is a 6’4″ guard out of Cushing Academy. The 2027 prospect is the type of scorer that can get you 20 points on any given night, showcasing a versatile scoring repertoire. He’s got good positional size and uses it to his advantage to get to his spots off the bounce, often rising up over defenders and knocking down tough mid-range jumpers. He’s a plus athlete that finishes over size with touch and against similarly sized defenders with authority around the rim. He can guard either spot in the back-court and when he’s locked in, can really make life difficult for opposing ball-handlers.

Every time I evaluate Vick he loves to explode for a ton of points on the offensive end. He does a nice job getting to spots off the bounce and doesn’t get sped up. Vick fills the lane in transition and gets rewarded with easy layups. He can shoot over smaller guards. Vick has no issue creating separation off the bounce. His length allows him to congest lanes on defense. He will be a priority of mid-major programs.

Vick was an offensive catalyst for Tilton (NH) with his ability to score in bunches. He played with a calm demeanor and doesn’t seem to get fazed by the moment. He had seven three pointers and scored them in different ways. Vick was resilient as a paint toucher and navigates well to spots with the ball in his hands. Vick exploded for 37 points in a OT win over Cheshire Academy (CT). The future is bright for the young prospect.

Vick, a three level scorer, has one of the best scoring packages in this class. He has good positional size and has shown signs of being able to operate as a secondary playmaker on the offensive end. He has a consistent jump shot with a quick release and is capable of getting hot in a hurry from behind the arc. He’s improved off the bounce and is a crafty finisher around the rim. He’s does a good job of changing speeds and directions and knows how to get to his spots off the bounce. Defensively, he’s capable of guarding both backcourt spots and does a nice job of keeping opposing ball-handlers out of the paint.
