Mark, a big man out of Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, checks in at #2 among the centers and #28 overall in this update. The 7-footer continues to take strides in his development and recently received an offer from Bucknell. He has impressive length that aids him in his ability to protect the rim on the defensive end of the floor. On top of that, he moves quite well for someone of his size and should only continue to get better defensively as he gets stronger. Offensively, he plays with a good basketball IQ, has the ability to finish above the rim as a cutter or roller out of ball screens, and continues to flash some potential as a floor-spacer in standstill opportunities off the catch. Mark will play on the travel circuit with the Middlesex Magic.

Mark, out of Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, checks in at #3 among the centers and #17 overall. Mark is in a unique position that he plays the same front-court spot as Edema, one of the nation’s top centers, but does a lot to intrigue in his minutes on the floor. A true 7-footer, he has NBA length and has done a great job of playing with more physicality around the rim. He has touch out to the three point line, is a fluid mover in space, and does a really good job of switching up his movement decisions after setting screens. Defensively, he covers space quickly and is a high level rim protector both on the ball and when coming over from the help.

Mark, a center out of Cushing Academy, checks in at #16 overall and #4 among the centers. Mark is a true 7-footer that presents as a mismatch with his inside/out skillset. He has the ability to operate as a roller or pop guy out of ball screens, does a nice job of sealing and holding space on the block, and has great touch as a finisher around the rim. He’s a fluid athlete that has done a good job of adding strength over the last 12 months. Defensively, he covers a lot of ground with his long strides and plus wingpsan and has the ability to protect the rim at a high level.

Mark is a true 7-footer who runs the floor well and protects the rim defensively for Middlesex Magic UAA. For his size, he looks pretty athletic running the floor and can hold his own in the paint against smaller, denser big men because of his strength. Most intriguing was his potential in terms of his shooting ability; he has a nice-looking release and some solid rotation on his shot. If the sophomore can continue to develop his shooting and perimeter skills, the sky’s the limit. He should have a larger role at Cushing next season and will likely garner a lot of scholarship attention.

A new-age stretch ‘5’ with evident long-term upside, Mark takes a back seat in terms of minutes and production while playing a backup role for Edema. The reason for intrigue is obvious though with Mark’s rare blend of size, mobility, and floor-spacing ability. He’s shown to be a dynamic shooter from the frontcourt with a quick release and versatility across translatable actions. While he’s still thin and is most effective on the perimeter, Mark shows a willingness to mix it up and throw his length around on the interior. We’ll hope to see more of his progress in an expanded role in an AAU setting but the building blocks are all there for a highly intriguing prospect.

is a tall and thin power forward with stretch-four ability. He can shoot the ball from deep with a repeatable stroke, especially off the catch. Mark’s sheer size makes him so dangerous as he can shoot over almost everyone who tries to contest him. His interior scoring could use improvement, but filling out his body will help tremendously with that area of his game. On the defensive side, Mark moves pretty well out in space and can guard wings better than you think. He can also act as a rim protector from the weak side and adding weight will help his body down low on centers. Mark’s frame should be priority number one, as the tools at his height are super valuable and rare, and regardless is a player that will make waves to programs.

“Coley” is up to 7-foot now and has a fair bit of skill to his game. He’s an ideal modern five man who has made leaps as a player over the past year. This AAU season could be the start of his breakout.

Mark fits the bill as a modern five; he has the ability to play with his back to the basket on offense and protect the rim on defense, but also has a skillset that expands to the perimeter and enough laterally agility to guard in switches. He has exceptional size and length for the position which nicely compliments his high IQ and feel for the game. Right now, his ability to shoot the ball from behind the arc really stands out and it’s a skill that gives him a high ceiling as a floor spacing big. Defensively, he mixes it up in the post, is a good shot blocker as a help defender from the weakside, and can start the break with his ability to turn rebounds into quick outlet passes.
