NXTPRO Session 11 (Live Period) - Ramsey's Sunday Standouts

Prep Hoops Indiana closed out the first July live evaluation period with another day at the Henrico Sports and Events Center just outside of Richmond, Virginia at the Puma Pro16/NXTPRO Session 11 event. On Sunday we were able to watch all three [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] age groups again while also getting eyes on some of the top talent from around the country. Here are some of the top individual standouts from what we saw on Sunday.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    The game looks so easy when you watch this 6'8" versatile forward play. Part of that comes from his fluid athleticism at his height and part of it comes from him being so good at basketball. Doane dominated on Sunday for Team CPSA scoring via consistent drives to the basket where he displayed high-level body control.. He is a very difficult matchup for opposing defenses and a high-upside Class of 2028 prospect to follow nationally.     Another prospect that makes the game look easy is this Class of 2027 forward from Team ASP. Green is a four-star, Top 25 prospect that can do a little bit of everything with the ball in his hands. His athleticism pops as a driver and in transition while also possessing the perimeter skill as a shooter and ball handler. He projects either as a bigger "3" or a prototypical modern stretch 4-man at the next level. Green was one of the most impressive prospects in the gym this weekend.     [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 17u built a lead early thanks to some aggressive and athletic drives to the basket by Martin. Then, when they needed to come back later in the game, it was Martin who rattled off a flurry of buckets capped off by a pull-up three-point shot. Martin, a rising senior at Liberty Christian, had his explosiveness on full display throughout the game and finished with 16 points in yet another impressive victory for GPP 17u.     This 6'7" smooth, athletic wing had no issue playing up at the 17u level with Team CPSA. Oware operates so well out on the perimeter for his size. He has elite footwork both as a shooter and when slicing his way downhill to the rim off of the dribble. The positional size, length, and athleticism make him a tough matchup for other 3's. It is easy to see why Oware is considered a highly regarded Class of 2028 prospect and should only continue to see his national recognition grow.     Roche was among the biggest stock-risers from the weekend in Richmond, Virginia. He capped off the event with his loudest performance yet finishing with an incredible 42 points on highly efficient 13-16 shooting from the floor. The 6'3" guard is an excellent shooter from the catch, on the move, and off of the bounce. Look for the Team Miami 17u guard's list of scholarship offers to grow rapidly heading into the second July live period.     One of the most impressive performances of the day came from this 6'4" guard for Team New England 17u. Vick currently holds offers from the likes of Detroit Mercy, Fairfield, and Gardner-Webb. I would expect that list to grow in a hurry coming out of this weekend. The smooth shot-maker proved himself as one of the best three-point shooters in the gym throughout the event and hit four threes in the first half alone of his game on Sunday. He has the full package of positional height, length, and skill level.     Wilson is the steady presence in the [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 15u backcourt that makes them tick. Throughout the weekend he proved why we have him ranked #15 in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2029 rankings. The 6'0" guard from Westfield High School is a highly skilled jump shooter and also displayed his effectiveness when attacking the basket off of the bounce. He scored a team-leading 14 points in Sunday afternoon's victory.     There were a bunch of excellent prospects in the gym throughout the weekend and many of them turned in some big time performances. However, Wilson Jr.'s game on Sunday morning would stack up with the best of the best from the entire weekend. The 6'4" guard poured in seven three-point shots and led [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 16u to a win scoring an incredible 38 points. If he is going to shoot it like that, paired with his athletic driving ability, the Division I offers should start coming in quickly heading into the next live period.
