We saw Wilson play a few times late in the summer including while out in Richmond, Virginia at the Puma Pro 16 live evaluation period event. The 6’0″ guard was a consistent top performer and go-to scorer for Grand Park Premier 15u. He is a very good perimeter shot-maker and is capable of creating his own open looks off of the bounce. We are excited to have him, as a Top 15 prospect in the class, at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Wilson is the steady presence in the Grand Park Premier 15u backcourt that makes them tick. Throughout the weekend he proved why we have him ranked #15 in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2029 rankings. The 6’0″ guard from Westfield High School is a highly skilled jump shooter and also displayed his effectiveness when attacking the basket off of the bounce. He scored a team-leading 14 points in Sunday afternoon’s victory.

Wilson controlled the game from the backcourt for Grand Park Premier 15u in a win on Saturday evening. The 6’0 6’0 6'0" Wichita Falls Legacy | 2027 TX ” rising sophomore guard from Westfield High School is really smooth with the ball in his hands and does a great job of creating separation off of the bounce to get into his jump shot. He also has a sneaky pop of athleticism as he elevates. Wilson led the way in the scoring column and looked excellent as a multi-level shot-maker.

It takes a lot to break into the varsity lineup as a freshman at a place like Westfield. However, Wilson continued to earn minutes and made some big play throughout the season for the Shamrocks. The 6’0″ shot-making guard averaged 4.8 points per game and shot 16-46 (34.8%) from three-point range. Wilson gets great elevation on his jump shots and projects as a high-level perimeter scorer.

Wilson projects as one of the best pure shooters in Indiana’s Class of 2029. He is going to factor into the backcourt equation right away at Westfield High School which is not an easy thing to do and had a couple of big games for the Shamrocks over the summer. What he can do as a shot-maker from the perimeter is very impressive. The 6’0″ guard is one definitely one to watch over the coming years on the north side of Indianapolis.
