There were a bunch of excellent prospects in the gym throughout the weekend and many of them turned in some big time performances. However, Wilson Jr.’s game on Sunday morning would stack up with the best of the best from the entire weekend. The 6’4″ guard poured in seven three-point shots and led Grand Park Premier 16u to a win scoring an incredible 38 points. If he is going to shoot it like that, paired with his athletic driving ability, the Division I offers should start coming in quickly heading into the next live period.

It has been an outstanding spring and summer for Wilson Jr. He dominated the spring with Grand Park Premier 16u, had a great month of June with Crown Point High School, and has picked up right where he left off here in July. The super athletic 6’4″ wing lived above the rim in a Grand Park win on Saturday afternoon finishing a bunch of dunks in transition and relentlessly attacking the basket in the half court. He finished with a game-high 19 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. We believe Division I offers should start coming soon.

This could be a bit of transition year for Crown Point. After reaching the Class 4A State Championship game last season they were hit hard by graduation. Wilson Jr. returns as a key piece from that team, but will now step into the go-to role while everyone else will fill entirely new, and bigger, roles well. The athletic 6’5″ wing had a great weekend individually really proving himself as a Division I prospect with a ton of upside. He averaged 19.9 points per game.

We moved Wilson Jr. into our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Top 10 on Monday and he made us look really smart on Friday at the IBCA Top 100. The 6’5″ athletic, skilled wing was as good as anyone in the gym. He made shots from the perimeter, displayed his athleticism as a driver, was active on the defensive end. There is no doubt that Division I programs should start offering this prospect from Crown Point High School this summer.

A high energy, high potential wing out of Crown Point that has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism. He’s wreaks havoc in passing lanes and is electric on the open floor with his ability to play above the rim. Has a smooth stroke on the jump shot making him a tough cover offensively.

Not many players in the 2028 in-state class with as much upside as MJ Wilson of Crown Point. Long and athletic wing made his presence felt all game long in the Bulldogs win over Chesterton on Monday night finishing with 12 points and 2 steals. Fluid 6’5” athlete that scores in a variety of different ways. Versatile defender that was aggressive in passing lanes looking to turn defense into offense. Once he did, he showed he can make big time plays in transition.

Wilson Jr. was arguably the most impressive prospect at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He quickly jumped into our Top 20 after an excellent spring and summer on the UA Rise Circuit with Indiana Game . Now, the 6’4″ wing just keeps getting better and better. He is effortlessly athletic with some real explosive ability when rising up to finish at the end of his drives. Wilson Jr. also shot the ball very well from beyond the arc on Sunday which just adds a further dimension to his game. The Crown Point High School sophomore will be playing in a loaded lineup, but don’t surprise to see him break through and really garner some attention this season.

? The 6’4″ wing put on a big-time showing at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp, turning into a straight highlight reel in transition with huge dunk after huge dunk. Not only does he play above the rim at an elite level, but he can also knock down the outside jumper and, overall, makes plays all over the floor. He will be a sneaky key piece for a Crown Point team looking to win state this season.
