About Dj

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Very quick, high motor guard who despite his size has a fearless playing style. A huge threat from beyond the arc with a smooth shooting stroke, showing excellent touch finishing around the basket with floaters. Always looking for getting teammates involved, always thriving in pick-and-roll situations and makes the most out of screen actions!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am always dedicated to playing basketball every day, regardless of the weather.I find a way to be outside working on my game. I consistently give my best effort during sprints and practices, and I hold myself to very high expectations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

NJHS (National Junior Honor Society)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In 7th and 8th grade, I led a team facing many challenges. Despite not being very great and getting blown out a lot, I grew as a leader by learning from mistakes like yelling and not encouraging teammates. These experiences taught me valuable lessons, making me a much greater leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Over the past three years of my basketball career, I have went through many injuries, including breaking a finger, fracturing my hand, and fracturing my wrist twice. Each time, I have had to come back stronger and better making me very tough!

What type of college are you looking for?

Playing for any college basketball team is a blessing, and I would be grateful for any opportunity to take both my academic and athletic career to the next level!
