Smooth left handed shooter out of South Bend Riley that was extremely impressive in my first viewing of him at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Lachlan Hoobin Lachlan Hoobin 6'1" | CG/SG South Bend Riley | 2029 IN is a 6’2” sniper that was active on the offensive end. Did a good job creating seperation off the dribble, as well as getting himself open off screens. Did a good job squaring up on the catch and showed his ability as the lower man to get by his defender and get to his spot on the floor.

Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp was our first opportunity to see this international transfer to South Bend Riley High School. His skill level immediately stood out to us. He is a very good ball handler and a very willing passer with excellent court vision. We saw him make several great plays from a live dribble in transition and when attacking the paint in the half court. Look for him to fit in nicely to an already very talented backcourt at Riley. He is good enough to get on the floor right away.

Moving in from international waters, Hoobin will join South Bend Riley High School as a sophomore. He is a perfect example of a player who will benefit from attending the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. This will be our first opportunity to see him play live, but we have heard good things from Coach Alex Daniel. We are excited to have him be part of our event and look forward to evaluating him on Sunday.
