About Jeremiyah
Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
It is not easy, or common, to step into a varsity role at the Class 4A level right away as a freshman. However, Johnson is doing just that for a very good South Bend Riley team. He will factor into a very talented backcourt that will have their sights set on cutting down the nets in Sectional 3. Johnson is a small, but physical strong guard that is fearless when attacking the basket. He plays with great pace, can really bother the ball defensively for 84-feet, and has a great feel for the game as a freshman.

Johnson was one of the more physical guards on Team 8 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He had a quick first step with the ball in his hands that allowed him to make plays in the lane pretty easily. A dynamic guard overall.
