One of our personal favorite prospects here at Prep Hoops Indiana, Kaegi has been a player we have been very high on since seeing him this summer with Grand Park Premier . His shot-making ability on the perimeter at 6’2″ makes him a very intriguing prospect. He performed well at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as well.

We’ve written a lot about Kaegi since the summer when we first saw him play with Grand Park Premier . He has good positional size in the backcourt and is highly skilled. The 6’2″ guard from Crown Point High School is one of the many talented players in the sophomore and junior classes. Whether he is shooting it in from beyond the arc or creating his own shot in the mid-range, Kaegi can score it from multiple levels. He makes his debut here at #34 overall in the Class of 2027.

We at Prep Hoops Indiana have been very high on this Crown Point High School product since early in the spring when we first saw him on the Puma Circuit with Grand Park Premier . Kaegi continued to standout on Sunday and was named a top performer at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 6’2″ guard is an excellent shooter and highly skilled all-around offensive player. There is a lot of talent at Crown Point right now, specifically young talent, with Kaegi certainly being among the top names to know.

We’ve been very high on this Crown Point High School prospect since first seeing him early in the spring playing with Grand Park Premier . He has gotten bigger since then now standing at a solid 6’2″+ and has gained strength as well. Kaegi is at his best as a shooter offensively with a smooth outside stroke and a nice mid-range pull-game. With his added size and physicality he has gotten even better finishing at the end of his drives as well. There is a lot of young talent at Crown Point right now, but Kaegi should start to factor into the equation this season. High upside prospect.

One of our personal favorites here at Prep Hoops Indiana, Kaegi really stood out at the Puma Pro16 Circuit event in Lebanon earlier this spring. He is an outstanding shooter, creates his own shot well off of the dribble, and has the necessary athleticism to get up and finish at the end of his drives. As he continues to get bigger and stronger his game will only blossom further. Everything about his skill level currently screams future college player and the overall package is very projectable to the future. He has the chance to develop into one of the better Class of 2027 guards in The Region.

Among the most impressive Class of 2027 prospects from the weekend, Kaegi is a very, very skilled guard out of Crown Point High School. He has a solid frame at 6’1″ and pairs it with excellent shooting ability. Kaegi proved himself as a threat both off of the catch and the dribble while also passing it with precision to his teammates. Love his long-term upside as he continues to grow. Another top prospect playing with Grand Park Premier Pro16 2027.
