The Indiana product is a 6’1” strong framed wing that is a high level finisher. He got to the rim with consistency throughout the game we saw for acrobatic finishes and maneuvering his body for scores. Pushed coast to coast as he was best in the open floor. Also had a couple nice dimes off his defense in transition.

High-energy wing with a knack for finding soft spots in the defense. Shows control around the rim with good touch and runs the floor well, spacing correctly and taking smart angles. Hustle shines on the defensive end, where he plays in a low stance with strong positioning and slides effectively with ball-handlers. Brings strength on the glass and a lockdown mentality. An opportunistic player who consistently impacts both ends of the floor.

One of the few out-of-state prospects, Bazin made an immediate statement to remember his name. He was a reliable off-ball contributor, creating opportunities through smart cuts, floor running, rebounding, and constant hustle. His high-energy style translated into impact plays on both ends, including a crafty hop-step finish and consistently finding soft spots in the defense. Defensively, his positioning and length allowed him to shut down drives and deflect passes. Bazin is the type of player who contributes in every area and leaves a clear imprint on the game.

There is so much talent coming through the system at Crown Point High School right now that it can be really tough to sift through it all and find the best prospects. That is what makes the Freshman Showcase so important. This is will offer our staff of scouts an early glimpse at Bazin, an incoming 6’2″ wing, before his high school career really takes off in the winter.

One of the most fundamental and complete Forwards/Combo Guards that I had a chance to evaluate this weekend was

of Region Force 2028. Bazin is a prospect that stands around 6’1 and he moves really well for that size. He plays off of two feet and he has a fundamental shooting stroke every time he lets go of the ball. Bazin is going to be someone that can play a handful of positions growing up, depending on the size he grows into the next couple of years. He has Guard like abilities but has some fantastic size as he plays up a grade level to compete. There were a lot of solid players from this weekend, who have promising futures and Bazin is definitely in that conversation to say the least.
