However, Shaw still deserves credit for dominating the competition at the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout. Fresh off of leading his team to the Class 4A State Finals, the Illinois-Chicago signee showed off his versatility throughout the event on Sunday.

Shaw didn’t get to cut down the nets at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, but he proved on Saturday why he is considered one of the top players in the state of Indiana. Illinois-Chicago is getting a steal. The 6’6″ wing was a dominant two-way force throughout the game finishing with 24 points and 9 rebounds. However, Crown Point fell short 52-50 against Mt. Vernon (Fortville).

An Illinois-Chicago signee, Shaw is such a steady presence for Crown Point. The 6’6” wing plays with elite pace at all times. He is a great passer, great ball-handler, and so incredibly versatile with the ability to essentially play anywhere 1-4. He played his best basketball down the stretch to secure a 76-65 win over Silver Creek. Shaw finished with a game-high 23 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to go with 7 rebounds.
