Shaw was the best player on the floor for much of the second half on Friday night as the Indiana All-Stars pulled away to defeat the Kentucky All-Stars 106-83. The Illinois-Chicago signee scored 20 of his team-leading 24 points in the second half to secure the victory. His versatility and skill as a 6’6″ really stood out throughout the weekend.

Very early on, it was clear that University of Illinois Chicago signee was going to be one of the MVPs for the Indiana Senior All-Stars. The Crown Point forward played like a man on a mission from the start getting on a early heater of multiple buckets in row including scores around the basket, at the free throw line, and from behind the arc. When Shaw is on like that, his combination of skill and size is just tough to contain. He finished with 18 points.

We had Crown Point ranked #1 in the state for much of this season here at Prep Hoops Indiana. Shaw ultimately led them to the state finals as well before falling short against Ertel and Mt. Vernon (Fortville). Still, the Illinois-Chicago signee turned in an outstanding season averaging 18.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

An Illinois-Chicago signee, Shaw averaged 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. The 6’6″ wing helped lead Crown Point to the Class 4A State Championship game.

It obviously stands to reason that one of the best players in the state, and the runner-up for Indiana’s Mr. Basketball award, was one of the best players in attendance. However, Shaw still deserves credit for dominating the competition at the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout. Fresh off of leading his team to the Class 4A State Finals, the Illinois-Chicago signee showed off his versatility throughout the event on Sunday.

The 6’6″ wing was a dominant two-way force throughout the game finishing with 24 points and 9 rebounds. However, Crown Point fell short 52-50 against Mt. Vernon (Fortville).

The University of Illinois-Chicago Commit played like the best player in the best player in the state in Crown Points win over Chesterton on Monday Night. Dominating on both ends of the floor, Dikembe Shaw Dikembe Shaw 6'6" | SF Crown Point | 2026 State IN scored 20 of his 33 points in the first half. The versatile inside out threat not known for his three-point shooting but knocked four 3’s, including two to open the second half. Also showed his tremendous playmaking ability with 4 assists.

An Illinois-Chicago signee, Shaw is such a steady presence for Crown Point. The 6’6” wing plays with elite pace at all times. He is a great passer, great ball-handler, and so incredibly versatile with the ability to essentially play anywhere 1-4. He played his best basketball down the stretch to secure a 76-65 win over Silver Creek. Shaw finished with a game-high 23 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to go with 7 rebounds.
