Silver Creek continues to run right through whatever competition is ahead of them. The Dragons improved to 27-1 by defeating Charlestown 83-58 to win the Sectional 30 title. Caldwell, a University of Richmond signee, finished with 28 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Silver Creek will face Batesville in the Charlestown Regional on Saturday.

A Richmond signee, Caldwell posted a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in Silver Creek’s 9:00 a.m. 74-45 victory over Shortridge. The 6’8″ forward’s athleticism and length led to a dominant performance on the offensive glass against an undersized opponent. Seven of his 11 rebounds came on the offensive end of the floor. Caldwell backed up his strong morning performance with 15 points once again in their evening win against Harrison (West Lafayette).

A Richmond signee, Caldwell took over down the stretch to try and will Silver Creek to victory. The 6’8” super athletic forward was very impressive driving it to the basket and elevating to rebound well above everyone else. His skill level and fluid athleticism is very impressive at his size. Caldwell finished as Silver Creek’s leading scorer with 21, 14 of which came in the fourth quarter, to go along with 8 rebounds.
