Our final NEPSAC Showcase preview for the first weekend at Worcester Academy focuses on five prospects that have a chance to expand their offer list this weekend.

Each of these five has already garnered scholarship level attention, and in most cases official offers, by playing at an incredibly high level this spring.

What stands out about this group is that each has the opportunity to operate as the focal point of their teams offensive attack this weekend, in a setting that should be jam packed with college coaches.

Here are five prospects we have on offer watch this weekend:

Archbold, a rising senior at the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, was arguably the best player in all of Class A last winter and has done nothing but continue to improve his stock this spring. The 6'8" forward is a high level athlete that plays with both skill and power. He can operate as a primary big man or a mismatch forward, playing bigger than his 6'8" frame but also showing a lot of versatility on the offensive end of the floor. He can knock down shots from behind the arc, finishes loudly at the rim as a roller out of screens, and has some playmaking ability with the ball in his hands at the top of the key. He hoards rebounds on the defensive end of the floor and has a good feel for timing as a shot blocker from the help side. He's already got a handful of offers under his belt, but could play his way into higher level offers over the next few weekends.

Clement, a rising senior at CATS Academy in Massachusetts, has a chance to be the biggest riser coming out of the showcase this weekend after picking up his first Division I offer, from Holy Cross, just a few weeks ago. The buzzwords with the 6'9" forward are skill, length, and potential. While he has a lean frame, he's incredibly long and doesn't back down in the paint. He pulls opposing defenders away from the rim as a shooter and shows the ability to put the ball on the floor from the perimeter. Defensively, he's really impressed lately with his ability to block and alter shots around the rim, using his length and budding athleticism to make life difficult for opponents in the paint. Clement had a terrific first day in Worcester, knocking down 7 threes, and could also have been featured in our "Familiar Faces, New Places" article, after announcing his transfer to CATS just a few days ago!

Payne, a rising senior at the Brimmer & May School in Massachusetts, should have the chance to show off his full offensive arsenal this weekend after spending the spring proving to be a jack-of-all-trades with the Mass Rivals. The 6'2" guard has an elite first step, plays with toughness as a driver, and does a nice job of playing off of two feet in the paint. He's a good athlete that has some creativity and touch as a finisher and does a nice job of finding his teammates in scoring positions. He really shines on the other end of the floor, where he combines competitiveness with his physical tools to be a terrific point of attack defender. He'll have plenty of scholarship level programs watching this weekend.

Adamson, a rising senior at the Dexter Southfield School in Massachusetts, has earned a reputation as one of the region's most competitive prospects. The 5'10" guard is physically developed, which helps him when playing through contact as a driver. He knows how to manipulate defenders by playing at different speeds, makes good reads as a passer out of ball screens, and has really improved his perimeter jumper over the last 12 months. His motor is always on and he seemingly always rises to the occasion in pressure moments. Defensively, he plays bigger than his height and does a great job of mixing it up on the glass. After picking up his first offer from Siena this spring, he'll be a prospect that plenty of scholarship level programs will want to get eyes on this weekend.

Vick, a rising senior at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, has the chance to build on his offer list (which includes Fairfield and Gardner-Webb) in this setting while showing off his ability to create scoring opportunities out of isolations. The 6'4" guard has some wiggle off the bounce and uses his size to get his shot off over most opponents, creating space with the dribble and elevating into his mid-range game. He's poised with the ball in his hands and has a great feel, particularly late in the clock, for how to create his own scoring opportunities. He continues to evolve as a paint scorer while making shots at a high level from behind the arc. Defensively, he's got some intriguing tools and the ability to defend any position on the perimeter. Don't be surpised if he's a major stock riser in June.
