The Rankings, Tier Leveling The Class of 2027

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Would we be able to say that rankings are subjective? They are like surveys, only good for that particular moment in time. Then what if one week, one day, one game someone has a good, great, or bad outing? Shouldn't move that player up or down accordingly and then publish them daily? It is just not realistic and practical.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>How Prep Hoops ranks for one of six categories: 1) Athleticism 2) Positional Skill 3) Size 4) Basketball IQ 5) Effort Level or passion for the game, 6) Intangibles (such as body language.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>When we think of a tier-level system it would take more into account, such as 1) Projection to the next level, 2) Current production 3) Competition in HS &amp; Especially AAU. In a tier system, at least in my judgment, there would be a bigger emphasis on size because you simply cannot teach it, and a lot of the time it develops late. Next, when looking at the next level size matters. Out of approximately 5400 college basketball players only 300 or so are 6'0" and under and that is less on the higher level. Finally, I would say to be in a higher tier one prospect would have to be evaluated as a plus in at least one or two areas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>Below is the 2027 class projected into a tier level at their current very early state.
