Luchetti is a workhorse forward who lives for doing the grunge work for his squad. He has a strong base and has no issue throwing his weight around on the interior to get to pay dirt. He scored the basketball often and showed that he could be a threat from the dunker spot. He is nimble on his feet and can guard different positions. Luchetti’s has a nice arsenal of post moves he uses regularly when he is down low. Luchetti has a nose for rebounds and collected an ample amount in the games I evaluated him. He has soft hands which allow him to catch passes with ease. I want to see Luchetti become more of a threat from behind the arc I think if he becomes more confident from there he is a no brainer at the low major level.

Austin played a key role in helping lead Davis Brothers Elite to the 16u title. Defensively he was a brick wall on the block, not giving up an inch to his man in the post. Austin had the strength to take contact right to the chest and remain straight up to either block/contest shots around the basket while avoiding fouling. On the offensive end he was scoring with baby hooks over size, and was also crashing the glass hard for putback buckets. Austin has an intriguing blend of size, strength, and explosiveness that makes him so tough to stop at the 16u level.

Luchetti anchored the Davis Brothers Elite inside, playing a key role in their championship push. The sturdy forward dominated the low and mid-post, combining touch with deceptive bounce. He finished explosively with both hands and added balance to the offense by opening up inside-out play. His presence in the paint created matchup problems throughout the day.
