One thing Reinke does every single year is improve a portion of his game. Since the last time I saw Brayden play, he has gotten stronger and quicker. Reinke was tearing down the rim in their game against Zero Star Basketball. Brayden had several rim rocking dunks on putbacks and in transition to put on a show for the Playmakers. Reinke is an elite defender due to his strength and quickness and locked up his matchup all game on Saturday. The prospect out of Mosinee, can do a bit of everything; pass, score at all three levels, and rebound the ball at a high level. A true two-way impact player. Reinke should gain several looks from the D2/D3 level the rest of this club season and headed into his senior season.

Brayden was a big reason why UTC Fire made a deep run to the 16u semi-finals over the weekend. Defensively he excelled as a shot blocker, seeming to come out of nowhere to swat a handful of shots across the two games I watched. Always seemed to be in the right place at the right time defensively. On the offensive end he was at his best cutting hard off the ball, and was able to consistently find pockets of space to catch and finish around the basket. Had a little teardrop floater that he would utilize to finish over the top of size at a high level.

Although listed as a small forward, Reinke can in actuality play several positions because of his high skill level. At times, Reinke could play either guard position or either forward spot as he is capable of handling the ball against pressure while also holding his own in the paint against taller players. A very skilled player who can score off the bounce and from the perimeter, Reinke was a difficult player to stop for the UTC Fire squad that won the 16U championship. He was too quick and skilled for opposing forwards and too big and strong for opposing guards. His completeness and positive impact on the game were impressive all weekend for UTC Fire .
