Van Epps, a 5-11 senior, from Hortonville also makes my list of players that have impressed me this summer. He initially caught my eye, on the AAU circuit, as one of the better outside shooters but as I watched further, I became more and more impressed with his overall offensive game. While not knocking down threes, Van Epps showed good dribble penetration and a nice floater package. No slouch defensively, Van Epps has very active hands, good lateral quickness, and is the type of player that makes everyone around him better.

Van Epps, a 5-11 senior, from Hortonville jumped out, initially, as one of the better outside shooters but as I watched further, his complete game stood out. While not knocking down several long balls, Van Epps was penetrating the paint for some nice floaters. Defensively, Van Epps showed very active hands and good lateral quickness, resulting in multiple steals, and is definitely the type of “glue player” that makes everyone around him better.
