Like others on this list, Hazel can be found working on his game on a daily basis in the gym at McDonell Central Catholic in Chippewa Falls. A gym rat to the nth degree, Hazel has improved at a rapid pace over the past 12 months. He averaged 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds as a sophomore for the Macks and had a good spring/summer while playing up an age group with the CV Selection program. He has improved his strength and is a guy who can play and guard different positions, including some at point guard. Look for Hazel to emerge as one of the top players in the Western Cloverbelt this winter.

A very hard working player who has definitely increased his physical strength and versatility, Hazel can play multiple positions and guard different spots on the floor as well. He is a capable shooter, but scores more often off cuts to the basket. He can finish through contact due to his strength. Developing a consistent three-point shot to go along with his moves off the bounce is perhaps the next step in Hazel’s development as a player.
