Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
CV Select has plethora of sharp shooters on their roster, but they also have players that can get downhill and dominate the paint. Brennan is one of those guys for the AAU club based out of the western part of the state. Loiselle- Christianson is a left handed explosive wing prospect that can get to the paint at will with his physical strength and athleticism. Brennan is still working on other parts of his game, but I was impressed with his ability to finish in the halfcourt and in transition. The prospect out of McDonell Central, has a good feel in transition facilitating for CV. Brennan’s physical tools give him a lot of upside as we progress in the club season.

A big and powerful forward with a good skill package, Loiselle-Christianson put forth a strong junior campaign at McDonell Central Catholic. He used his size and strength to average 12.7 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Macks, who finished the season with a 14-14 record. A transfer student from Elk Mound, Loiselle-Christianson continues to make positive strides in his overall game and will be a key performer in the Western Cloverbelt Conference again next winter after earning second-team all-league honors as a junior.

A physically strong forward, Loiselle-Christianson uses his strength to carve out space in the paint to either score or grab rebounds. He can set ball screens away from the basket and also take an occasional three-point jump shot. But his biggest assets are his size, his strength and his endless energy on both ends of the court. The Elk Mound transfer figures to be a key player on the frontline for McDonell Catholic Central in 2025-26.

This 6’4 forward always seemed to be in the right place at the right time for Team 12. He was scrapping on the glass on both ends of the floor, always seeming to come up with the ball if it bounced even remotely in his area. I liked the effort he put in to run rim-to-rim and beat opposing bigs up the floor in transition. Soft finishing touch helped him score in traffic, and his play on both ends of the floor translated to a win over Team 11.
