About Xavier
Expert Analysis

Bezares’ games is synonymous with the word microwave, as the six-foot-one guard can fill up the statsheets quickly. In his game on Sunday, Bezares buried perimeter shots, and mid range pull-ups by utilizing an extremely quick first step. Xavier was one of the quicker players I was able to see play this weekend on both ends of the floor. Bezares has the ability to go on personal scoring runs, and on the other end, deflect and steal the ball from his matchup right after giving his matchup a bucket. Xavier is worth the watch as he turned in nice performances for Playmakers East this weekend.

One of the top players for the Wisconsin Playmakers Appleton squad, Bezares appears poised to become a huge factor for the Neenah Rockets in 2025-26. His ball handling, shooting, decision making and all-around solid play were consistently strong all spring and summer for the Playmakers. Bezares can bury multiple three-point shots as well as drive to the basket to score or deliver a nice drop-off assist. On the other end of the court, Bezares keeps opponents out of the lane with his solid man defense.

Bezares helped the Wisconsin Playmakers Showcase Appleton squad to a 3-2 record at the Midwest Showdown. He played both guard positions at different times for the Playmakers, and he excelled with his ball fakes, his smooth jump shot and his strong passing ability. Bezares displayed a good feel for the game and defended well with his athleticism and quickness. Coming off a sophomore season where he earned plenty of playing time for one of the state’s elite programs in Neenah, Bezares figures to be a key performer for coach Lee Rabas and the Rockets over the next two seasons after averaging 4.5 ppg this past season.
