About Jackson
Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
Bouressa is a talented, mobile big man from Stevens Point. I have watched Jackson the past three seasons during the club season, and he is able to improve a little bit each year. Bouressa is a bruiser, and as physical as they come around the rim. He was able to impact the game through his offensive rebounding, rolls to the basket, and good touch around the rim. I was impressed with his ability to sprint to screens, and roll methodically, but quickly navigate through traffic to catch and finish on passes. Bouressa is able to guard 1-5 and did a great job of helping shut down a dynamic Wisconsin Legneds ball club on Sunday. Jackson is one of the many talented players coming back for SPASH and figures to be one of the better frontcourt prospects in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Jackson had a nice showing on Saturday night for Wisconsin Playmakers , taking over for a stretch in the second half. At 6’6-6’7 he has a strong frame that allows him to physcially dominate games at the 16u level. When he caught anywhere near the basket, he was able to gather his balance and power his way up through contact to score. Stayed active off the ball, making quick cuts to find gaps in the defense to catch and finish. Solid blend of size, strength, and mobility as a 2027 prospect.

. He has a strong frame at 6’6, and does a nice job creating a seal on his defender, providing easy angles for entry passes. When playing alongside his 6’11 teammate, Jackson will often have size on his matchup, and he takes full advantage of it. He was powering his way up for finishes inside on Saturday morning, helping lead his team to a win over Chapman Academy South.
