What a a weekend in Appleton! Thank you to all the college coaches, high school coaches, players, WBCA/WIAA, the Champions Center, officials, and all of the workers who made this event possible. It is truly one of the best events for quality of play and providing players the stage to showcase their abilities and compete in front of college coaches. Let's breakdown Sunday's action and the players that stood out in Appleton.

Schulz is a pure shooter and hit a ton of threes throughout the weekend at June Jam in Appleton. On Sunday morning, the five-foot-ten backcourt prospect hit three first half threes. Schulz does a great job of getting his feet shot ready, releasing the ball quickly, and shooting the ball with confidence. Rylan is capable of ripping to the basket and finishing at the rim, complimenting his strong outside shooting capabilities.

Kornowski is part of a strong SPASH team, as he can facilitate with the ball and is a floor spacer off the ball. Sam, who runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'], is a pick and roll maestro capable of scoring from the midrange, finding the roll man, or pulling up from three. When Kornowski does get to the basket, he plays very well off of two feet and uses impressive finishes to get the ball through the net. Kornowski had 12, a handful assists, and a bunch of rebounds in Stevens Point win over a talented Arrowhead team. The way that Kornowski can play offensively, rebound, and defend, makes him a junior to closely monitor in July, and going into next winter.

Bouressa was a force on the interior for SPASH in both of their games on Sunday in Appleton. The senior frontcourt player is great at using his strength, length, and skill to convert easy baskets in the paint. Jackson can go either way in the post, a skill that makes him tough to guard on the low block. I was impressed with Bouressa's ability to finish through contact during these moments on the inside. In addition to his ability to score inside, Jackson can also pass out of the post, step out and shoot it, and defend well in the half court. With his size and skill, I would not be surprised if Bouressa starts to gain some interest from division three schools in the Midwest.

Crull is a major part of the talented trio of talented scorers for the McFarland squad, who qualified for the state tournament last March. Garrett, who also competes with [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'], is a good decision maker in pick and roll where he can find a rolling [player_tooltip player_id='2140913' first='Eli' last='Krueger'], or score off the bounce. Crull seems to make the right decision a lot of the time when the Spartans go empty pick and roll in the half court. Garrett is a fun player to watch in transition as he can probe to the basket to finish or set up his teammates on kick out threes/ dumpoffs. Crull has developed off the ball this off-season as he was able to score off cuts and sets to finish athletically at the rim. The six-foot-five prospect is garnering division two interest and is poised for a big July.

Throughout the weekend in Appleton, I was impressed with the confidence of Nolan running offense, shooting the basketball, defending, and rebounding well for his size. A left-handed sniper, Ten Pas hunts his shot with his ability to get his shot off quickly and effectively use screen/actions in the flow of the North offense. Nolan keeps getting better in his development, as he was able to make some impressive passes in the half court and rebounds well for his size. Sheboygan North dropped a tough one against Monona Grove, but I believe the Golden Raiders will be a tough out in the 2026-2027 season.

Jackson is one of the many weapons for MG that can score 20 in a given game. The rising six-foot-eight prospect, has improved a ton since the conclusion of the high school season. Jayden is extremely mobile: sprinting to screens, running hard in transition, and cutting hard to finish at the rim. When Jackson is able to get close to the rim, he is a strong finisher using his athleticism and strength to finish over defenders. On the other side of the ball, Jackson is an elite rim protector, challenging shots directly at the rim. Jayden had 16 points and a ton of rebounds in their triumph over Sheboygan North. Jackson proved this weekend why he is one of the best prospects in the sophomore class in Wisconsin.

Goedheer is one of the guys you want on your team, as he does all of the little things to win combined with his advanced skill set. Matthew is a great offensive threat on and off the ball using cuts, reading screens, and ripping on strong closeouts to put the ball through the net. I was impressed by how hard Goedheer plays on every possession for the Crusaders. The six-foot-four prospect defends extremely well, rebounds, and is a true team player for Catholic Memorial, who will be very good this upcoming season. Goedheer finished with 13 points in their game against Altoona.

Calvert was a problem in their game against Altoona with his strong frame, athleticism, and skill. Karti has made strides in his development since his freshman year concluded at Catholic Memorial. The six-foot-six prospect who runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'], consistently knocked down triples in their game Sunday afternoon, including an impressive jab-step deep triple. Karti is a bruiser when he drives to the basket, and because of his strength, the defenders seem to be unable to slow him down when he is able to gain advantage. On the block, Calvert seals extremely well to gain post positioning and bury defenders for easy buckets. As Calvert continues to grow and develop, he will be a prospect to closely monitor in the 2029 class in Wisconsin.

Waterford graduated a ton of important seniors last season, but Lojeski shows some promise to step in and shoulder the scoring load for the Wolverines. The six-foot-three prospect poured in 21 points vs. Xavier, 22 vs. Monroe, 21 vs. Reedsburg, and 22 vs. Golda Meir scoring at all three levels. Matthew is able to hit contested threes, set up his temmates, and overall can initiate offense for Waterford. On the other side of the ball, Lojeski is tasked with guarding the other team's best player. Matthew competes with a strong independent program, Midwest Mayhem and will be a player to watch as he heads into his junior year at Waterford.

Wilichowski is going to be a steal for a coach at the next level. The six-foot-seven prospect has been really solid for WDP and [program_tooltip program_id='2078394' first='Team' last='1848'] this spring and summer. Jack is mobile, competes hard on both ends, has great feet around the basket, and can step out and knock down shots. When he is not doing these things, he is sprinting rim to rim to contest shots or get easy layups in transition. Wilichowski finished with 17 points and a plethora of rebounds in their game against Badger on Sunday.

Samson was consistent for the Phantoms all weekend in Appleton hitting shots, facilitating offense, and using his quickness to defend at a high level. In his game against Whitnall, Samson hit a game tying three on a baseline out of bounds with six seconds remaining to send the game to overtime. Carson also played well in a game against Badger, finishing the game with 12 points, a handful of assists, and rebounds. Samson is a player for division three schools to monitor in July where he competes with the [program_tooltip program_id='2512324' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'].
