Goedheer is one of the guys you want on your team, as he does all of the little things to win combined with his advanced skill set. Matthew is a great offensive threat on and off the ball using cuts, reading screens, and ripping on strong closeouts to put the ball through the net. I was impressed by how hard Goedheer plays on every possession for the Crusaders. The six-foot-four prospect defends extremely well, rebounds, and is a true team player for Catholic Memorial, who will be very good this upcoming season. Goedheer finished with 13 points in their game against Altoona.

, Goedheer may not always get a ton of shot opportunities. However, when his named is called, he delivers, both from outside the arc and on mid-range jump shots. Goedheer is blessed with stellar size for a wing-guard and has a smooth stroke from outside the arc. He flows to open spaces and has a good release once the ball gest to him on the perimeter. Goedheer also possesses the size and length to defend multiple positions. He averaged 13.4 points per game for a balanced Catholic Memorial squad as a junior and had a season-best 26 points and six three-point baskets for the Crusaders in a victory over Waukesha West.
Goedheer’s net-snapping skill from deep and foul shooting played big roles in Catholic Memorial’s win over Lakeside Lutheran. The sophomore wing guard hit three shots from outside the arc and then drilled a couple of important foul shots late in the game. He finished with 13 points while also playing strong perimeter defense for the Crusaders.
