About Jack
Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
Wilichowski might be one of the most improved players in the 2027 class from last year at this time, to present day. The six-foot- seven front court player was impactful and explosive in their game versus Quad Cities on Saturday in Stoughton. Jack runs the floor well, is super athletic, and has an extremely high motor for a player of his size. In addition to those intangibles, Wilichowski has a versatile offensive skill set. Jack can score from behind the line and consistently from the paint. Wilichowski is improved passer even since the end of the high school season, and finished this game with four assists in this early slated game. Jack finished the game with 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Wilichowski is a prospect to monitor due to his diverse skill set, and ability to influence the game in many different ways.

A starting forward who a West DePere squad that went 20-7 while competing in the Fox River Classic Conference, Wilichowski seems to get better by the day and could very well be a player who continues to climb in the rankings over the next several months. At 6-foot-7 and with a varied skills package, Wilichowski can score by putting the ball on the floor and getting to the basket. He also draws plenty of fouls from opponents and can even step outside beyond the three-point arc to score. He averaged 11.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Phantoms and received honorable mention all-FRCC recognition.

One of the more improved players in northeast Wisconsin, Wilichowski is making a name for himself as a versatile 6-foot-7 wing/forward for the West DePere basketball team this winter. He finished with 18 points and scored off the dribble, in the post and from three-point range in the Phantoms’ win over Yorkville Christian. He also got to the foul line for West DePere while also providing some length and size in the post on the defensive end of the court. Wilichowski plays with impressive mobility and skill, and will be a player to watch in the 2027 class as the season winds down and club ball gets underway in the spring.

Wilichowski has grown in the past year and has really improved his skill set since last season. The 6’7 Junior drew the assignment of guarding a bigger JT Meyer JT Meyer 6'8" | PF Bay Port | 2027 State WI on Tuesday night and was able to match the size of Meyer through disciplined positioning and toughness. On the other end, Wilichowski showed the ability to play inside and out going 5 of 5 from the FT line, hitting a 3, and finishing through contact on post moves and dump offs of dribble drive penetration. Wilichowski will be key for the Phantoms as they get deeper in their quest for winning the FRCC. The 6’7 junior is 12 points a game and is one of the most improved players for West De Pere .
