Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Hayden was leading the comeback charge for Team 1848 against ABC Young Lions . At 6′ he’s able to bully opposing guards around the rim with his strong frame, while showing soft touch to finish inside. He was perhaps at his best as a creator though, racking up a number of assists by either throwing it ahead in transition, or getting into the lane and dumping it off to a forward stepping in from the dunker spot. Showed impressive vision to squeeze the ball through tight gaps that not many players would’ve seen. Also stretched the floor for a handful of threes throughout the game.

Strong and crafty lead guard who plays with physicality and an edge. Schultz doesn’t back down from any opponent and likes to use his strength and quick hands to get deflections and steals. Offensively, Schultz gets to the hoop and can also bang three-point shots. He was a solid contributor for a very solid Team 6 squad, showing stellar leadership skills with his on-floor communication. Schultz figures to be one of the premier backcourt performers in the Packerland Conference over the next two seasons.
