A pure shooting 2 man that earns his keep from beyond the arc. Knocked down multiple catch and shoot 3’s in transition or in ½ court setting with confidence. Shows ability to stay balanced on the catch and then convert at a high clip. Capitalizes on spacing the floor effectively off drives and can heat up quickly.

When you shoot the ball from three-point range like Gulseth, you tend to get noticed. The 6-foot-2 wing guard shot it at a high level for Roncalli last winter, making 80 of 221 attempts for 36 percent. That percentage might have been higher had talented teammate Donovan Cowley Donovan Cowley 6'3" | CG Roncalli | 2026 State WI not missed a good chunk of the season with an injury as opponents keyed on hounding Gulseth all over the floor. He still managed to earn Player of the Year honors in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference and averaged 21.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per outing while playing a huge role in the Jets’ 21-6 season.

You better account for Gulseth on every defensive possession or he will make you pay for the lack of attention. He is an outstanding three-point shooter with extremely deep shooting range. He buried four triples and scored 16 points for Team 1848 and his long-range marksmanship helped Team 1848 pull away from Wisconsin Breakaway in the second half. Gulseth’s ability to knock down shots helped him earn Player of the Year laurels in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference for a Roncalli squad that went 21-6.

Gulseth has picked up the slack thus far this season when talented teammates Donovan Cowley Donovan Cowley 6'3" | CG Roncalli | 2026 State WI and Dominik Frozena Dominik Frozena 6'6" | SF Roncalli | 2026 State WI have missed games due to injuries. Gulseth is averaging 20.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.2 steals for Roncalli, which is 8-3 on the season. He is especially productive from three-point range as he has made 36-of-99 from outside the arc for 36 percent. He has good size and smooth shooting stroke, traits that will translate well to the collegiate level.

Gulseth was knocking down three-point shots in the first half to help Roncalli grab a 40-25 lead at intermission. He made four triples in the first 18 minutes and then added another in the second half on the way to scoring a game-best 27 points. Gulseth spots up well along the baseline and has a picture-perfect jump shot. He also plays well off of two feet around the basket. Gulseth also tackled the challenge of guarding the best player from St. Mary’s Springs — guard Ben Baker Ben Baker 5'10" | PG St. Mary's Springs | 2026 State WI — for much of the game. He is having a very strong season for the state-ranked Jets, leading the team in scoring at 23.5 ppg.

An outstanding long-distance shooter with good size, Gulseth can knock down triples with the best of them. He also can use his size and skill to get into the lane for short jump shots. Gulseth had the length and mobility to guard well on the perimeter and can contribute on the glass as well. He is a key returning player for a Roncalli squad looking to repeat as champions in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference. Gulseth averaged 14.0 ppg and shot 40 percent from three-point range as a sophomore for a team that finished 24-3.
