Frozena’s versatility on both ends of the court is a big reason why Roncalli is enjoying yet another successful season under coach Josh Erickson. The 6-foot-5 combination forward leads the Jets in rebounding (5.3 rpg) and assists (4.1 apg) while also contributing 9.5 ppg. Defensively, Frozena can guard multiple positions because of his mobility, length and ability to move his feet. A very unselfish player who is willing to do whatever it takes to help Roncalli win, Frozena’s maturity as a player figures to bode well for his future in the game.

In just his second game of the season after missing the first four while recovering from an injury, Frozena helped the Jets get off to a strong start in the win over St. Mary’s Springs. He scored nine of his 13 points before intermission as the Jets took a commanding 40-25 lead into intermission. Frozena is a versatile forward who can attack the basket with his size or step away and make mid-range and three-point jump shots. He runs the floor well and can guard in space and in the paint.

One of the more improved players taking part in the Prep Hoops Midwest Showdown, Frozena missed Manitowoc United ‘s first game against D1 Minnesota due to the fact he was playing in a baseball game for Roncalli. However, he was outstanding in Manitowoc United ‘s win over Minnesota Powerhouse. He was good on the glass, scored in the lane, passed the ball exceptionally well and defended with some physicality and his size in the paint. Frozena has added some weight and strength over the past 12 months, and that has helped him become more of a force around the basket. Frozena also can step outside and pass out of the high post or even take some from outside the three-point arc. Frozena averaged 9.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists as a junior for the Jets.
