Kubsch is a player to watch because of his deadly shooting from deep range. Look out for this Wisconsin shooter in Indy. He will be knocking down shots left and right.

Few things in baskbetall are as fun to watch as a player putting the ball in the basket from deep. Although a good all-around player, Kubsch’s No. 1 strength is his long-distance shooting. With a quick release and always on the hunt for shots, Kubsch is a guy opponents must account for each time down the floor as he will bury threes in the blink of an eye if left unguarded. Kubsch made 56 three-point shots and connected on 37 percent of his long-range attempts as a junior. He has shot even better from deep this spring/summer with the Manitowoc United club program.

Do not leave Kubsch open. If you do, he will make a three-point basket on you. And if you get too close as a defender, he’ll zip around you for a floater in the lane. Kubsch scored at a very high level for Manitowoc Lincoln in Plymouth. His showed that his shooting range extends well beyond the three-point arc, and he used his quick release to get up shots in a hurry. The results are usually good as he made at least 40 percent of his triple attempts for the Ships. Kubsch had a strong junior campaign for coach Shane Evans, averaging 10.5 ppg. He appears poised to increase that total as a senior as he has complimented his stellar long-distance shooting with the ability to get into the lane for short jumpers and floaters.

. The ball never seems to stick in his hands, and he excels at getting into the lane to create openings for his teammates. At 5’6 he’s able to effortlessly weave through defenders to get into the lane, and from there he has the vision to pick out any open teammate. He’s just constantly looking to create good looks for his teammates. When left open though he can torch you from three on his own.
