Expert Analysis

Throughout the weekend in Appleton, I was impressed with the confidence of Nolan running offense, shooting the basketball, defending, and rebounding well for his size. A left-handed sniper, Ten Pas hunts his shot with his ability to get his shot off quickly and effectively use screen/actions in the flow of the North offense. Nolan keeps getting better in his development, as he was able to make some impressive passes in the half court and rebounds well for his size. Sheboygan North dropped a tough one against Monona Grove, but I believe the Golden Raiders will be a tough out in the 2026-2027 season.

TenPas, who attends Sheboygan North is an elite shot maker from the perimeter. In the 8:00am game, Nolan came out on fire from downtown, draining four perimeter triples with his smooth and quick release left handed release. TenPas is known for his perimeter shooting, but the five-foot-eleven sophomore has developed over the past year with his playmaking skills and his ability to finish strong off of two feet. Nolan had some spectacular passes to his teammates in transition and in the half court in their rout of the Milwaukee Young Bucks , while playing under control with sound footwork. TenPas should be a player to watch moving forward this club season, and into his junior season in the FRCC.

Nolan is a lefty guard with range out beyond the arc. His shot wasn’t falling early on, but as the game progressed he started to find his rhythm, including hitting a tough pull-up three from the top of the key in the second half. Nolan sees the floor well, and racked up a couple of transition assists throughout the game.

Tenpas lived up to his reputation as a sniper, stretching the floor with confident outside shooting. His movement off the ball kept defenders occupied, and he punished hard closeouts by putting the ball on the deck. Tenpas’ ability to knock down shots consistently opened up playmaking opportunities, giving Team 5 a dependable offensive spark.
