Michalkiewicz possesses very good size and outstanding physical strength, traits that help him get places on the basketball court. He can penetrate to score or dish off to a teammate, while also having the skill to make perimeter shots. One of the better young athletes in the Fox Valley Association, Michalkiewicz started at quarterback as a sophomore for the Cardinals’ varsity football team. He also averaged 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists during the basketball season.

Michalkiewicz is proving to be one of the elite young athletes in the Fox Valley Association. After starting at quarterback for the Cardinals’ football team last fall, Michalkiewciz has taken over the starting point-guard duties on the basketball court. Competing for a young team in rugged FVA, Michalkiewicz is averaging 10.2 points. 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists for first-year coach Josh Dilling. In addition, Michalkiewicz leads the Cardinals in made three-point baskets with 46 through the first 13 games of the season.
