Kornowski is definitely one of those players. He bouncy, skilled and steady backcourt performer was outstanding in helping Stevens Point to a 5-0 record that included decisive victories over both D.C. Everest and Marshfield, the two teams expected to contend with the Panthers for the Wisconsin Valley Conference crown next winter. Kornowski is very good off the dribble as he uses his size, strength, skill and length to get to the basket to score. He also can knock down three-point jumpers and find open teammates when opposing defenses double him. Kornowski also had a nice throw-down dunk for the Panthers in the win over Medford on Sunday. <br><br><strong>Pools A/B Breakout Performer</strong><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2436994' first='Keegan' last='Krull'], 6-0, Frosh., G, Stevens Point</strong><br>The son of Stevens Point coach Jon Krull, [player_tooltip player_id='2436994' first='Keegan' last='Krull'] proved in no uncertain terms he belongs at the varsity level as just a freshman with his impressive play for the Panthers in Marshfield. Krull competed with poise, instincts and a high level of efficiency in helping the Panthers to a 5-0 record. He scored well in every game, including a 14-point outing in a 48-42 win over River Falls that included a pair of big three-point baskets in the second half of the tight contest.
