Perry utilized his strong frame to get the ball at the high post and then weave his way around defenders for baskets in the lane en route to scoring a team-best 24 points. He finished almost every drive he took in the second half and his scoring kept The Prairie School within striking distance of Unity Christian until the very end of the game. Perry’s size and strength combination are tough to defend, and he’s crafty enough around the basket to score and get to the foul line on a regular basis. Developing a consistent perimeter jumper is probably the next phase of Perry’s development as all 12 of his baskets came inside the three-point arc.

Chandler is a big time finisher inside, combing explosive athleticism while being able to score with either hand around the basket. He’s a right handed shooter, but almost looked more comfortable going up to score with his left around the rim. Racine Truth didn’t have a true big man, so Chandler spent a lot of time defending against opposing size and I thought he did a nice job of walling up to contest despite giving up size around the rim. Explosive athlete who scored 6.4 ppg on varsity over the winter.
