Ryans work ethic since his freshman year has made him into a all conference player and a name to know this summer for AAU. His ability to move without the basketball constantly puts pressure on opposing defenses. He understands how to use screens, relocate after passes, and create space for clean looks. He trusts his shot any time it goes up and if he has an off game, it doesn’t stop him from shooting. While in Appleton he made 9 three through just 4 games with 4 of them coming in his last game. While on a good Team Herro squad, he shows that he can shoot no matter what team he plays on.

Ryan has the talent to be one of the best shooters in the whole state of Wisconsin in his senior year. He has gone from a good three-point shooter in his freshman year to a lights-out shooter heading into his final high school season. He has also grown to 6’5, and with that height, he has developed more than just his shooting. Since opposing teams label him a shooter, he has to score in ways he hasn’t done much before. He can use that height to post up and back down his defenders and finish at the hoop. While doing this, he also draws double teams. With this, he can find open teammates and get them wide-open looks while also being in a position to grab offensive rebounds. He is having an amazing summer with Team Herro and is looking to stand out at the June Jam at the end of the month.

Ryan came up big was AIA Wisconsin on Sunday morning. In the second half he was coming up with some clutch shots, and ended up hitting a three with less than ten seconds remaining to give his team the win. Ryan is a pure shooter, and is a threat to pull up from three off the catch or dribble. Does a nice job of mixing in shot fakes to send defenders flying by, and creating off the dribble from there. Ryan shot over 42% from three during his sophomore season, while growing over three inches since his freshman year, as he continues to fill out his long frame.

Vanoss is a big part of a very talented sophomore class at The Prairie School. Along with forward Dalton Ahlensdorf Dalton Ahlensdorf 6'5" | SF The Prairie School | 2027 State WI and guard Chandler Perry Chandler Perry 6'3" | SF The Prairie School | 2027 State WI , Vanoss is one of three sophomores earning big minutes for coach Jason Atanasoff. Against Chicago St. Francis de Sales, Vanoss swished six three-point baskets and scored 21 points in an 81-78 loss. His ability to catch and shoot was a big part of the Hawks’ offense, and he rarely touched the rim after he let loose with his smooth jumper. Vanoss figures to become an even tougher player to guard in the future as he adds strength and the ability to get to the basket off the dribble to his game.
