Despite his size, Sam was showcasing how useful he is on the court. He was able to get sneaky steals due to his small size and created good scoring opportunities for his teammates on fast breaks. He got multiple steals when the offense wasn’t paying attention and turned them into very good offensive possessions. When he wasn’t getting steals, he was calm and able to knock down 2 threes. He also chipped in all his free throws he shot to secure the win for him team.

Samuel was a scrappy defender for Team 12. He could move his feet to pressure the ball hard on the perimeter, and even when matched up against size was battling for every inch of position on the block. On the offensive end he likes to push the tempo for his team, looking to get them up the floor quickly before the defense can get set. He had a pair of impressive touch finishes right over the top of a 6’6 defender in the game I watched.
