When Busch gets his feet set and lets fly with a three-point shot, it’s a surprise when it doesn’t go in. He has become an elite shooter due to his hard work and dedication to the game. He scored 27 points for Oak Creek in a very competitive contest against a good Buffalo Grove squad. Busch made six triples in the game and swished all five of his foul shots. He does a good job of searching for openings in the defense and it doesn’t take long for him to spot up and shoot from deep. Busch competes with passion and a strong understanding of the game, traits that have served Oak Creek very well this season.

Tyson is looking like one of the best outside shooters in the state’s 2027 class. He’s one of those players who can catch fire at any given moment, and knock down a handful of threes within just a couple of minutes. Tyson showed range that extended to well beyond the high school three point line, and has the ability to hit shots off the catch or dribble. At 6’1 he may not have a ton of size as a shooting guard, but his quickness still allows him to create separation against taller defenders to get his shot off.

Busch established himself as a top prospect at the shooting guard position. A confident scorer for Team 6, attacking with creativity at the rim and consistency on the perimeter. His sharp mechanics, quick release, and poise in catch-and-shoot situations made him a tough cover. Busch’s scoring instincts and ability to finish through traffic position him as a key name to watch for Oak Creek this upcoming season.

Another key performer for the Racine Truth program, Busch picks his spots and when he does, the results are usually positive for his team. He is a knockdown shooter from deep and he moves very well without the ball in an effort to get good looks at the basket. Busch has a tight handle and can score off of pull-up jumpers in addition to moving the ball with efficiency to his teammates. A gym rat who ranks among the better shooters in the 2027 class, Busch continued to take strides in his game over the past few months, both with Racine Truth and Oak Creek.

Oak Creek’s backcourt is loaded with skilled players and if coach Eric Hollow can find some frontline players who hold their own in the paint, the Knights could emerge as the team to beat in the Southeast Conference. Busch, senior Joey Carini Joey Carini 6'0" | SG/PG Oak Creek | 2026 State WI , senior Noah Daniel Noah Daniel 6'0" | CG Oak Creek | 2026 State WI and sophomore Ja’Quan Turner Ja’Quan Turner 6'5" | SF/SG Oak Creek | 2028 State WI form a dynamic quartet for Oak Creek. Busch was one of the better guards in Kaukauna as he competed with energy, made shots from the perimeter and also grabbed rebounds. He can push the ball in transition or fill the lane and either score going to the basket or spot up for a three-point attempt. If the old saying you win with guards is true, look out for Oak Creek this winter.

Tyson is another young prospect to track at Oak Creek. Like Jaquan he played very limited minutes, but still finished with a handful of buckets as he was constantly getting to the rim. Showed quick hands to poke the ball free for steals, and from there was flying up the floor for transition finishes. Was a 4.2 ppg scorer at the varsity level last year as a freshman.
